Marina Ramirez, the owner and President of Assisting Hands Palm Beach, brings over twenty years of professional experience in finance, marketing, and customer service across national and multinational organizations. Her career has been driven by an unwavering commitment to exceptional quality and service.
Marina’s journey into the home care industry was profoundly influenced by her personal experiences. After her mother passed away, Marina and her sisters became primary caregivers for their father, who had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Concurrently, she witnessed her mother-in-law’s prolonged struggle to care for her husband, who suffered from Parkinson’s. These experiences highlighted the critical need for quality in-home care for the elderly, inspiring Marina to establish Assisting Hands Palm Beach.
An active leader in the Palm Beach community, Marina has been a dedicated member of the West Palm Beach Rotary Club for many years and now serves on its board. Her personal and professional encounters with Alzheimer’s disease have fueled her involvement as a chair member of the Alzheimer’s Walk for three consecutive years. Additionally, she is an active member of the Hispanic Chamber and currently chairs its Healthcare Committee.
Fluent in both Spanish and English, Marina holds a BA from Georgetown University and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley. She enjoys reading, gardening, traveling, and cherishing the simple joys of life with her husband and daughter.
